Saqil, the flower markets of Guatemala

Saqil means "light" in Quiché, a Mayan language still spoken in Guatemala. Saqil celebrates the brilliance of the country's flower markets, the beauty of women adorned with floral embroidery, and Guatemalan culture, intensely rich in art and vibrant colors. Of all my travels around the world, Guatemala is the one that has remained most deeply etched in my heart.
