Itsara – An ode to freedom for Thailand’s elephants

Itsara pays tribute to these incredible creatures and to the freedom all beings deserve.
Itsara means “free” in Thai, a name born from the country where I saw the most elephants in captivity.
Itsara is my dream of freedom for them—a dream where chains are broken, and each one finds a joyful life again, deep in a lush, vibrant jungle.
